About

KMI was founded in 1995 on the basis of the Kuban State Medical Academy on the initiative of the administration of Krasnodar Krai (Governor N. I. Kondratenko, Mayor of Krasnodar N. F. Kryazhevskikh).

 

In 2009, KubSMU left the founders, and the institute’s administrative building moved to a new building at 198 Budyonny Street.

 

The founders of the Kuban Medical Institute are 37 professors of KMI and KubSMU - outstanding scientists and honored doctors of Kuban, many of whom teach at the institute.

 

The NOU VO “Kuban Medical Institute” has a perpetual license for the right to conduct educational activities.

Kuban Medical Institute is one of the oldest private universities in Russia. It has united talented students and experienced teachers, honored medical practitioners, outstanding scientists - those who have chosen the noble, prestigious and always in-demand profession of a doctor. Over almost 30 years of the institute's work, about a thousand graduates have received a medical diploma and made a successful career in the medical field. We are proud that almost 100% of our graduates work in their specialty in Russia and abroad. The certificate of state accreditation of the Kuban Medical Institute is valid until September 21, 2016. At the moment, the NOCHU VO "Kuban Medical Institute" does not have state accreditation, the university is in the process of preparing for state accreditation. Admission and training of students is carried out on the basis of a license to conduct educational activities.
